Since July 2015, EFG's Diffractometer are further developed and manufactured under Freiberg Instruments GmbH, a fast growing high tech company established in 2005 as a university spin off from TU Bergakademie - The University of Resources, Freiberg.
With a team of young and dynamic Engineers and Software programmers, Freiberg Instruments GmbH is an industry expert in providing solutions in the fields of advanced Metrology, Automation, and Software development. The main focus is on high level metrology solutions for Semiconductor Industry, Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy, Luminescence Spectroscopy, Dosimetry and Dating applications together with a variety of sophisticated special developments for leading research institutes and applications. Freiberg Instruments holds several awards for its state-of-the-art technology and innovations.
EFG GmbH was founded in 1961 by Ing. Arthur Bradaczek and his son Mr. Hans Bradaczek. In the last 54 years EFG GmbH has developed and manufactured high precision X-ray devices like, Universal Omega/Theta X-ray Diffractometer, Desktop X-ray Diffractometer for Crystal Orientation Measurements (DDCOM) and other user definded X-ray devices for special applications.
We are committed to extend our support and service to all existing EFG customers and our new structure concentrates on high competences in ultra-fast crystal orientation detection technologies.
